Simrad AP24 Mechanical Helm Drive Autopilot

Simrad AP24 Mechanical Helm Drive Autopilot System contains all the necessary components for a complete cable-steering Autopilot set up. The key component in this kit is the Type-S Helm drive that replaces the manual drive used on a typical cable steer Boat. It is directly compatible with the Morse 290 steering Helm but has it's own bezel kit and can be easily retrofitted to most set ups using the cable and steering wheel that is already on the Boat. Note: The Helm Drive is compatible with Morse 304411 and Teleflex SSC52 steering cables.  If the Boat has rack and pinion steering then the cable must be replaced with one of the above.

• Type-S Straight Shaft Helm Drive
• AP24 High contrast display control unit with accessories
• FC40 Fluxgate Compass with 5m SimNet Cable
• AC12 Autopilot computer with dedicated fishing turn patterns and optional interfacing to MFDs to use Steer-to-Waypoint (Nav) mode, with 15m SimNet Cable
• 5m SimNet Cable
• SimNet 7 Prong Multi-Joiner
• SimNet Termination Plug
• 2m SimNet Power with Termination Cable
• Note: The Helm Drive is compatible with Morse 304411 and Teleflex SSC52 steering cables.  If the Boat has rack and pinion steering then the cable must be replace with one of the above.
