Planus Marine Toilet Systems

Planus marine toilet systems are proudly distributed by CH Smilth. The new planus range has been designed by the original founder and developers of the well known tecma toilets and builds on their vest knowledge and experience of marine toilets and systems. The driving force of they system is the Vortex pump. Housed neatly and inobtrsively in the base of the bowl foot, this high preformance pump provides greater flexibility when planning the rote for discharge hoses. The high rotation speed is the Vortex pump and geometric design of its piping create a vacuum powerful enough to remove water and organic waste from the bowl and move it over significant distances and heights.

Vortex pump

Over the years planus have developed and refined the vortex pumping system which is the heart of the new planus toilet and discharge range. The high level of preformance provided by this design enures the greatest possibal flexibility in planning the route of the discharge hoses, allowing it to reach significant distances and hights. The high speed rotation of the VORTEX pump and the geometruc design of its piping are designed to create a powerful vacuum able to remove water and organic waste from the bowl over long distances and gradients.

Stainless Steel one-way valve

The stainless steel valve shutter solves the inevitable problem of tint deformations present in plastic-moulding components, which can effect its functionality. The problem with plastic valves components is that they may not be totaly uniform and could compromise a perfect seal.

Control panel with 2 buttons

Supplied as a standard equipment with every planus toilet this flush switch provides a homely design and intuitive operation suitable for any user. Even entertaining the occasional guest will not mean embarrassing and inavoidable explanations about how to use the toilet.

Family control panel

The 'family' single push controle panel is a homely design for greater simplicity and ease of use. supplied as an optional extra the kit includes one single switch control panel and one family control panel facia. A simple single puch causes the toilet to flush automatically, leaving a certain amount of water in the bowl.

Automa tic pumping device

The pro-lift is a professional-strength pump, necessary when gradient to reach the water tank by force of gravity is absent. Pro-lift is a completely sealed, stainless steel box that can be installed in any invironment. The unit is comprised of a single Vortex pump which remains extremely quiet and powerful, capable of discharge both gray and black water. The heavy duty constuction is designed to enable the pump to even discharge acidic and greasy water, detergents and small organic residues with ease.
