S.H.I.T. explained with CH Smith's Wiki

Sometimes it can be hard to understand some of the jargon which is thrown around within an industry.

We are often use a lot of these technical terms, without realising that we are baffling our customers.

Rather than try and confuse you further, instead we have compiled our own List of glossary terms, to help you understand the language of the boating, marine, electronics and nautical industries.

You may have noticed these terms appearing as a pale blue hyperlink to the glossary term. These are not to be mistaken with the bold blue text which links to other parts of the website.

For example, in our TMC Manual Toilet listing (see image to the right), the terms ''TMC'', ''Stainless Steel'' and ''excrement'' have definitions linked through to our Wiki page. If you then click on ''excrement'', it comes up with an explanation of ''What is Manure?''.

To browse through all of our listed glossary terms, you can find the Boat Wiki in the links at the top of the page.

If you read a glossary term in our Wiki and think that you could explain it better, or don't see an explanation for something which you think people might need more information, then please e-mail rod@chsmith.com.au with your suggestions or definitions.

For a more in depth look into some commonly asked questions, please also refer to our news section.

If you're still stuck then please do not hesitate to contact us at CH Smith by phone, online or in store.
