The new Raymarine Evolution Autopilot systems are simple to install and do not require calibration before use. This means that once it is installed you only need to turn it on and it is ready to go.

With three models available, the EV-200 Sport Wheel Autopilot is a helm mounted Autopilot designed for use on small boats up to 30'', EV-200 Powerboat Hydraulic Autopilot is also a helm mounted Autopilot designed for use on manual hydraulically steered boats and EV-200 Sailboat Linear Drive Autopilot is designed for use on small sailing boats up to 11,000kg displacement (laden).

These systems use the intelligent EV sensor core to automatically evolve and adapt to your vessel’s steering characteristics, without any user adjustments. Operation is simple, steer onto your desired Course, press the AUTO button and let go of the wheel. To disengage the pilot and regain manual control, grab hold of the wheel and press the STANDBY button.

The EV Sensor Core is able to be installed above or below Deck, with a 9-axis sensor that monitors vessel motion in all three dimensions. It combines advanced solid-state sensors with the Evolution Autopilot processor into a single easy-to-install housing, resulting in precise and confident Course keeping, regardless of the vessel speed or sea conditions.

The ACU (Actuator Control Unit) delivers reliable Autopilot drive power and also provides power to the SeaTalk bus.

These systems are then controlled using either the p70 or p70R control units. Both feature vibrant colour displays and are powered by Raymarine’s intuitive LightHouse user interface, organising all options into simple menu structures.

The p70R features a rotary dial control for power boaters, allowing control over the menu and Course changes or activate power steer mode and steer manually, right from the control >Head. The p70 is designed for sailing yachts and offers simple 1 and 10 degree direct Course change push buttons.
