Just the tonic for your eyes!

CH Smith Marine are now stocking Australia's best sunglasses, Tonic Eyewear.

By creating a lense that incorporates four colours, and coating the inside of the lense with an anti-reflective film, the wearer will enjoy true eye protection without losing any colour perception. A decentred lense allows the wearer to see straight >Ahead, up and down and also peripherally, without experiencing any optical distortion.

In addition the new glass lenses are a lighter weight and come in a choice of grey or photochromic (darkens automatically according to light conditions) copper. There is also a polycarbonate lense version in grey or copper.

All frames - a choice of shiny black or tortoiseshell - are made to withstand the harsh Australian conditions and are lightweight and durable.

Every pair of sunglasses comes attractively packaged and is backed by a 12 month new for old warranty. This is among the best warranty services in Australia, making these glasses a fantastic addition to your fishing arsenal!

On a personal note, I see a lot of these products come through our store and very few excite me enough to order them into stock, let alone get a pair for myself! But when I saw these I knew I just had to have a pair, so I invested in a pair of Shimmer Frames with a Glass Copper Photochromatic lense.

My first trip out with them turned out to be a total non-event on the fishing side, but these glasses blew me away. Driving to Kyneton I encountered fog and heavy rain, but didn''t remove my sunnies as they actually enhanced my vision. By brightening up the greens and yellows I was easily able to see cars coming from a long distance and felt safer and more secure knowing I had plenty of warning if trouble came around the corner.

On the water these glasses were also fantastic, easily cutting glare and allowing me to see Fish cruising the edges without any problem.

I have no hesitation recommending these glasses and think they are one of the best value for money and quality lense going around!
