It can also allow for mounting to the stop of your Boat if reducing dragn and keeping the Transducer safer is important while still improving your imaging thanks to letting you sit your Transducer parallel to the waters surface. The spray shield included in the design keeps excessive water spray from the Transducer when you are running at high speeds.
