How high does my Bilge Pump pump?

Having the right >Bilge Pump is the difference between staying afloat and not when your vessel's been compromised – as the pump acts to clear built-up water out of the Bilge.

The pump performance Chart below is an approximate guide to the output of various Rule pumps at various pumping heights.

The left hand column shows the height in metres that the pump will push water to.

The bottom horizontal column shows output of the pump in US gallons per hour at the various pumping heights.

Note: At maximum >Head height shown, the output is zero water.

Rule electric submersible Bilge pumps will not lift water – they will only push it up.

The pump must be submersed in the water. Output, water flow and pumping height will vary depending on battery charge and type of installation.
