Fish ID
Fish ID+™ is a feature on Humminbird fishfinders that uses Sonar processing algorithms to estimate if a detected object is likely to be a Fish. When the Fishfinder return signal meets certain parameters, the Fishfinder displays this signal as a Fish icon on the screen along with the depth of the target. On Humminbird DualBeam units, Fish detected in the narrow center Beam are shown as shaded symbols, and Fish detected in the wider Beam are shown as hollow symbols.
