Pacific Aerials’ new Range of AIS antennas are individually tuned and tested to provide optimum performance. A wide Range of Antenna sizes and mounts provide for any size and type of vessel, from tenders to tankers.

AIS is intended to assist vessels in identifying and allow maritime authorities to track and monitor vessel movements. The frequencies used by AIS to transmit and receive this data are higher than marine VHF frequencies, so using a marine VHF Antenna with an AIS unit will compromise the performance of the system, as will the use of a ‘splitter’ to run VHF and AIS from the one Antenna. Using a dedicated AIS Antenna ensures the best possible transmission and reception Range, and maximizes your safety.

• The Masthead AIS Antenna is specifically designed for masthead applications, made of Stainless Steel and comes complete with ready to install mounting bracket.
  
  
• Pro Series Seamaster AIS Antennas - available in 1.8m and 2.5m sizes - can be removed and remounted on the Boat at the user's convenience. The cable is hardwired to the Sea Master Pro Series mount, so the Antenna can be removed without pulling or cutting the cable.
