Hookem Flying Gaff

Hookem Flying Gaffs are a very important fishing tool, especially when fishing for shark or large tuna.

The handle is only used to guide the >Head of the flyer.

The moment you hook the flyer >Head into the Fish, you need to instantly detach the handle with one hand, while the other hand allows the Rope and flyer >Head to be kept taut for more control and easier handling. This does not allow the Fish any control, as would be the case if the handle was still attached to the >Head.
