Flares

Boat Flares need to be replaced every 3 years. Check the expiry date on your Boat Flare Kits! (What do I do with my expired flares?)

A Red Hand Flare is for use at night time in particular. Orange Hand Smoke Flare is for daytime use only.

• Note: Due to transport restrictions, flares and rockets cannot be sent by mail or road freight to interstate or country areas.

Requirements:

• Recreational Boating:
  •  Inshore - 2 Red & 2 Orange (DLA040)
  • Offshore - 2 Red& 2 Orange (DLA040) + 1 Rocket/Parachute Flare (DLA015).
• Commercial Fishing:
• Inshore - 3 Parachute Rockets, 2 Red Smoke Flare, 1 Orange Smoke Flare.
