Video - The Couta BoatVideo or DVDDescription: The story of the Couta boat is presented by Gary Kerr, lobster fisherman and distinguished writer, historian and filmaker, using historic footage and still photos. It shows how the boats were used in past and now how many of the boats have been lovingly restored. These Gunter Rigged boats were once the back bone of the the Victorian Baracouta fishing industry. They ranged in size from 20 to 30' and around 150 existed in the 1920's. Today there are more than 200. Total running time 110 minutes.
