General Info about Solar Power

The charge maintenance and recharge time of batteries is further affected by the natural loss rate of the battery. Marine deep cycle batteries are designed for frequent charge/discharge cycles and are ideal for solar panels. When charging more than one battery from the same solar panel, use batteries of identical type and Amp Hour rating.
