New B&G V60-B VHF Radio with built-in Class-B AIS
B&G has announced the release of the new V60-B, the first VHF radio to include an integrated Class-B AIS Receiver and >Transmitter.
V60-B follows on from the original V60 and upgrades its capabilities to make it even better.
Not only will you be able to receive position data from other vessels (just as you could with the original V60), but in a first you'll now also be able to transmit and share your position with nearby AIS-enabled vessels.
The new V60-B VHF is an all-in-one solution that's easy to install and also saves space on board.
You'll be able to view AIS data on the radio's screen, or overlay on your compatible chartplotter. There's also an internal GPS Receiver and full DSC functionality.
Available from August 2019.
