The ability to show fine detail. Better resolution provides better discrimination among individual objects.

Displays: Often used to describe the number of pixels along each dimension of a screen (eg. 1024x768) that determines the clarity and detail a screen can display. Proper term is Pixel Dimensions, as resolution properly refers to pixel density (eg pixels per inch).
