DAME Design Awards

DAME International Design Awards recognise the best of the best in product design for marine equipment and accessories.

The prestigeous competition was launched in 1991 to promote design in all disciplines.

Awards are presented in seven categories -

* Marine electronics & marine related software
* Interior equipment, furnishings, materials and electrical fittings used in cabins* Deck equipment, sails and rigging* Lifesaving and safety equipment* Machinery, propulsion, mechanical and electrical systems and fittings* Marina equipment, boatyard equipment and Boat construction tools and materials* Clothing and crew accessories

Awards are judged by the DAME Award Jury, who carefully assess entries for overall design, build quality, functionality, and use of materials. Other factors taken into account are originality, ergonomics and price/quality ratio.

Participation in the DAME Awards is exclusively reserved to exhibitors at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METSTRADE), the world’s largest trade exhibition of marine equipment.
