General Info about Radio & Aerials

As from 1st July 2001 operators of MARINE VHF no longer need a licence to have the equipment, however there is a legal obligation to observe the conditions specified in the class licence. Operators are required to hold a Marine Radio Operators VHF Certificate of Proficiency or its equivalent. There is no certification requirements for 27MHz.
