Northstar Explorer W315 (DISCONTINUED)

This product has been discontinued, and replaced with Simrad IS20 Wind System.

Northstar Explorer W315 provides a genuine analogue display giving key wind functions. Northstar Explorer Wind 315 Uses Navman's NavBus single twisted pair communication system and can connect up to 30 instruments. Other features:

  • Large backlit digits - 30mm upperline & 20mm lowerline.
  • NMEA0183 inputs and outputs.
  • Apparent and True Wind direction (analog and digital).
  • Wind speed range 0 to 199 knot, 0 to 102m/sec.
  • Computes true wind speed and direction, VMG when connected to Speed 3100 or Multi 3100 or any compatible NMEA device.
  • Wind speed alarms.
  • Includes low mass masthead transducer with 30m cable.
