ETrex Venture & Summit GPS (DISCONTINUED)

The eTrex Venture and Summit models have been updated (due early January 2008). They feature a high-sensitivity GPS receiver for peak performance in any environment and includes 24 megabytes internal memory, a detailed basemap and crisp color screen. They have all the features of the standard model plus:

eTrex Venture HC Additional Features

• High resolution Colour TFT display 176x 220 pixels.
• 50 reversible routes of 50 waypoints per route.
• 24mb of programmable memory (needs Metroguide option).
• USB interface cable included.
• Battery Life: up to 14 hours, using 2 AA Batteries.
  
  eTrex Summit HC Additional Features
• Electronic Compass - 1 degree resolution.
• Elevation Computer: Current elevation, resetable minimum and maximum elevation, ascent/descent rate, total ascent/decent, average and maximum ascent/descent rate.
• Local pressure and 12 hour pressure trend recording.
• Range: -2,000 to 30,000 feet.
• 20 Reversible Routes of 50 waypoints per route.
• Battery Life: up to 14 hours, using 2 AA Batteries.
