Heading into the summer months, there's no better time to be messing about in boats. With plenty of sun-filled days >Ahead on the water, kicking back onboard with a few mates, you'll want your Boat to be looking its absolute best.

Maintaining your Boat is important if you want to be able to enjoy it for years to come. A few standard touch-ups here and there can go a long Way to keeping your Boat in pristine condition.

At CH Smith Marine we have had two new product ranges arrive in-store that will help you to keep your Boat in shape.

Both JB Weld and Aussie company Fixtech produce quality sealants and adhesives, perfect for all those niggling little jobs:

For touching up and sealing general spots around your Boat, JB Weld Silicone Sealants are tough, waterproof, and come in clear, white and black.
Need to reseal your porthole or hatch? Fixtech's FixSeal 15 is great for fixing above and below Waterline applications. Based on MS-Polymer, it is high quality, fully elastic, flexible and chemically neutral.
Unsightly, damaged timber? JB Weld KwikWood Putty Stik is perfect for touching up cracks in doors, window trims, decks and indoor/ outdoor wood furniture. Dries to a light tan colour to blend in with your existing wood.
For all sorts of odd jobs, FixSeal MSP Clear Sealant is multi-purpose and seals between many materials, even in low movement structural joints. Elastic and 100% clear.
Cracks in the engine? JB Weld Ultimate Copper Silicone Sealant is 3 times more oil resistant than conventional silicones, and cures to a copper finish to blend in with your engine. Sets in an hour, and can handle temperatures up to 370˚C.
