2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year – with our big move to our new Fairfield showroom, and Lowrance, Simrad and B&G all unveiling bigger and better editions of your favourite models.

With plenty of sun-filled days on the water >Ahead, we also have you covered with Fusion's new, world first StereoActive go anywhere floating sound system, and custom-fit outboard covers from Ocean South.

Here's a run-down of what to expect in 2017!

Lowrance

• Here at CH Smith Marine we're very excited about the new HDS Carbon Range from Lowrance. HDS Carbon follows on from the ever popular HDS Gen2 and Gen3 ranges, with industry-leading features such as Navico's new, wider-viewing SolarMAX HD touchscreen display, dual Channel CHIRP and super fast Dual Core processor – which has twice the RAM of the HDS Gen3. This means you'll be able to see StructureScan 3D, 3D charting, >Radar and structure overlay all at the one time.

• Elite 9 Ti and 12 Ti have also been unveiled, expanding upon Lowrance's popular Elite Ti Range. The 9 and 12 boast bigger, brighter touchscreen displays with high-end functions and features, plus the ability to connect to your MotorGuide Xi5 Trolling motor and more.
  Elite 9 Ti now available – Elite 12 Ti available March 2017.

Simrad

• Simrad's NSS Evo3 is the next evolution up from NSS Evo2. A powerful display built for sportfishers, the Evo3 also features the new high res. SolarMAX HD display, as well as a built-in advanced Echosounder capable of displaying dual-channel CHIRP, ForwardScan, SideScan, DownScan and StructureScan 3D imaging. To boot, you can also integrate with your Simrad Halo or 3G/4G >Radar.
  Available end March 2017.
  
  

• Simrad's followed its GO7 XSE up with GO 9 XSE, with TotalScan and DownScan combos available. GO9 XSE allows you to control your onboard sound system, monitor engine data and more over NMEA 2000, as well as choose from an array of built-in Sonar technologies like >Broadband CHIRP, ForwardScan and Down Imaging.
  Available now.

B&G

• New from B&G, the Vulcan 9 FS boasts a fully integrated electronics package with all the bells and whistles for a non networkable >Head unit (no ethernet). It comes packed with sailing specific functions such as SailSteer, >Sailing Time and Laylines, and the ability to integrate B&G sailing instruments and Autopilot systems.

• Last but not least, B&G Zeus3 follows the Zeus2 with high-performance electronics and a wide Range of classic sail-specific functions, such as SailSteer, Sailing Time, >Laylines and RacePanel, all in one easy-to-use Navigation system.

Fusion

• Fusion StereoActive is the world's first purpose-built, portable FLOATING watersport stereo! Mount the stereo securely to any paddle board, Kayak, canoe or Dinghy – even the bathtub –  and have music wherever you go!

Ocean South

• Ocean South has your outboard covered, with new custom-fit covers made to suit your Evinrude, Mercury, Suzuki or Yamaha engine. Covers are made with Cyclone Protect 380gsm polyester fabric, with non-woven backing and advanced coating technology that ensures maximum water resistance, UV protection and breathability.
