Lowrance StructureScan HD LSS-2 goes further

Lowrance StructureScan HD LSS-2 uses a new longer redesigned transducer, that gives a narrower beam angle that can see further and provide greater definition than the original best selling LSS-1 .

Not that anything is wrong with the LSS-1, Lowrance engineers just knew that bigger was going to be better!! In the same way a longer radar antenna gives better range, the longer LSS 2 transducer packed with more elements gives better depth range and better bottom definition. More elements give more power focusing on the bottom, in a narrower beam, getting stronger echo returns and hence more range.

The new StructureScan HD LSS2 also gets a new transmitter box that gives better overall performance. Lowrance recommends that existing owners can get substantial improvement by replacing their LSS1 transducers. LSS-2 is compatible with all HDS classic and Gen 2, Simrad NSS and NSE series.
