MotorGuide and Lowrance have enhanced Xi5 performance with Pinpoint GPS connection, a seamless gateway interface between Pinpoint GPS enabled Xi5 motors and Lowrance Gen2 and Gen2 Touch electronics. 

MotorGuide has teamed up with Lowrance to deliver one of the finest Sonar pictures ever giving you greater Boat control from anywhere on the Boat.

Connected through the NMEA network from the Lowrance unit to the Trolling Motor, Pinpoint functions include Anchor, Jog, Heading Lock, Route Record/Playback and Cruise Control.

Through the connection with the Lowrance HDS unit you can Anchor to an existing Waypoint saved into the Lowrance system. Alternatively you can set a series of Waypoints in any direction and the Boat will go along those lines. You can then adjust that Line and the series of Waypoints will automatically recalculate in the set direction. You are also able to set the speed and see it all displayed on all Lowrance devices connected on the NMEA 2000 Gateway, for perfect directional control and speed control all in one.

Note: A Lowrance software update to Version 3.5 must be undertaken for Lowrance Fishfinder/Chartplotter to be compatible. MotorGuide Gateway interface will be available from 14th December 2014
