Introducing the new Simrad IS35 Digital Display

Simrad IS35 provides boaters with at-a-glance access to real-time data from NMEA2000 compatible engines and sensors critical information about their vessel. These are intended as a replacement for analogue engine instruments for motorboats, featuring default pages for engine monitoring, fuel economy, cruising, steering, and depth history.

They are not the "standard" 110 mm / 4" size, but 10mm smaller so they fit the standard 85mm (3 3/8") circular cut-outs typically used by analogue gauges. They also look attractive on a motorboat "glass bridge" underneath one or more NSS evo2 displays.

Pre-programmed pages include engine data display, a dedicated cruising instrument, fuel economy with instantaneous fuel flow, fuel used and fuel remaining. Boaters can also view motor steer with Navigation information such as Waypoint position, time to destination, Current speed and RPMs, as well as depth history with Current and historic depth readings and water temperature. An accurate, real-time view of fuel usage helps to identify your optimal cruising speed and RPM, letting you maximise your engine’s fuel economy and get the most from your fuel budget. With a compatible engine, fuel flow sensors, and tank level sensors, the IS35 can display instantaneous fuel flow, fuel used and remaining, rate of consumption, and fuel economy in miles per gallon. The user-configurable IS35 can also be easily customised with multiple layout options and built-in templates.

Easy to install, the Simrad IS35 automatically detects available sensors on an NMEA2000® networ and other connected equipment including engines; fuel flow, engine temperature, and water pressure sensors; GPS receivers; depth transducers; and much more, displaying the most relevant information on the appropriate pre-defined page. An intuitive user interface and simple menu, left/right arrow and enter buttons allow boaters to quickly navigate all device functions. The IS35 is easy to see in full sunlight and during night operation with White ‘day’ mode provides high brightness and contrast for use in full sunlight, while red ‘night’ mode offers more subtle illumination for use in low-light conditions.

A pre-set steering page provides key navigational information from other NMEA 2000 connected instruments including Waypoint position, distance, and time to destination. The IS35’s Course deviation indicator (CDI) provides a clear graphical representation of your boat’s distance from its plotted Course.

The IS35 can be flush mounted using an optional rear-mounting bracket and electrical installation is simple, with both power and data over a single NMEA 2000 cable.
