Garmin Topo Maps on Marine Displays22/08/2011Garmin Chart Plotters and multi function displays can now display Australian Land Topo Maps. Until now, some Hand Held and Car Navigators were the only displays that could use Topo Maps.
Topo Maps are available on preprogrammed SD Cards and includes topographical contours down to 20m. based on NAVTEQ and HEMA map data for Australia and New Zealand.
Existing GPSMap451 , GPSMap551 , GPSMap556 , GPSMap750 displays require a free upgrade to use the SD Cards. |
