Free GME EPIRB Battery Upgrade

Free GME EPIRB Battery Upgrade 6+6= 12 years!! From August 1st 2012 all GME MT400 and MT406G (with GPS) beacons sold in Australia or New Zealand will be eligible for a free EPIRB service when the 6 year replacement is due. This service includes battery replacement and full performance check, essentially doubling the battery replacement period to 12 years which efffecivly halves the total cost of ownership.

GME’s MT400/MT406G EPIRBs are fitted with a long life lithium battery pack and the battery should be replaced by the date stamped on the side of of the EPIRB.

No other EPIRB manufacturer has ever provided a 12 year battery offer; GME’s additional 6 year battery programme affords fixed ownership costs for an indispensable safety device, representing exceptional value, and peace of mind for our customers.

CH Smith Marine records serial numbers on our sales dockets for all electronic items sold by us (including EPRIB's) and can reproduce these upon request as proof of purchase will be required.

There are a number of conditions attached to this offer including:

• The MT400/MT406G must be returned to one of GME’s corporate branches where the replacement can take place, over the counter.
• The EPIRB must not have been activated, the safety seal on the EPIRB must still be intact
• Only one free battery replacement will be offered per unit.
