Elite Software Upgrade Improves Chart Redraw Speed

Lowrance released today V2.7 of its operating system for Elite 5 Combos & Elite 5m GPS Plotters .

The upgrade improves Navionics chart redraw speed and removes Chart Region setting at start up. There is also a new set up wizard that helps tailor the unit to the users specific needs, plus general software and performance improvements.

The Lowrance Elite V2.7 upgrade is available as a free download .

To Update the unit:
Download the update to a MicroSD Card no larger than 2GB following the instructions on the update
download page. With the unit powered off insert the MicroSD card into the unit.
Power the unit on, the update will run itself.
