While Lowrance Elite 5HDI & 7HDI provide Sonar and good DownScan imaging, it is not as good as the results from the Lowrance LSS-2 Transducer as these images show.

With a larger surface area providing a narrower Beam angle, the LSS-2 Transducer is able to provide more distinct & detailed imaging.

So while the Lowrance Elite 5 >HDI & Elite 7 >HDI combos provide outstanding value for money, the best results will be seen on the LSS-2 connected to compatible multifunction displays. In addition the LSS-2 has the additional Side Image ability, which makes a difference in all types of fishing.

The LSS-2 Transducer can be used with the Lowrance HDS and Simrad NSS Series of Multifunction displays.
