Cooper Nylon Anchor a world first

The Cooper Nylon Anchor is the world's first plastic anchor. It is small and light, weighing less than 1 kg, so it is easily transported and stored on Kayacks and Jet Skis. Most importantly, the anchor performs better in all conditions than other small steel and aluminium anchors on the market.

The small blade on the shank of the Cooper Anchor completely eliminates the possibility of the anchor staying on it’s back. By creating a new balance point that rolls the anchor onto its tip and sets immediately. The small blade also increases holding power and stabilizes the angle of attack as the anchor buries because the small blade and the main blade are at the same angle and support each other.

The Copper Nylon Anchor featured in the ABC's 2010 New Inventors program and was the winner of the peoples choice award.
