CH Smith Marine are proud to announce we have received the Furuno award for 2013 Best National Independent Retail Store, in the Trailer Boat/Chandlery Dealer Category.

As part of the 2013 Dealer Achievement Awards, the award was granted for outstanding Furuno sales & customer service.

The partnership between Furuno and CH Smith Marine goes right back to 1957, when Geoff Smith (former managing director of CH Smith Marine), met the Furuno brothers in Japan and secured the sole agency for Tasmania and later Victoria. This was relinquished in 1975 when Taylor Marine were appointed as National Distributor.

In 2010 the partnership was picked up again with the introduction of the colour LCD displays such as the FCV620 (superseded by FCV627 Fishfinder), FCV585 (superseded by FCV587 Fishfinder), FCV295 and FCV1150.

We now have over 40 Furuno products in stock from fishfinders to radars, echo sounders, Transducers and MFDs.
