SARCA boat anchor ( S and A nd R eef C ombination A nchor) began with a range of innovations over 6 years by Australian Rex Francis in discussions and feed back from commercial fishermen and boaties a like. Rex put hoop anchor designs on the map and feels proud to think that he had actually influenced change.

Today SARCA anchors are manufactured by Anchor Right and Rex continues to innovate. Anchor Right and Rex recently produced the Super SARCA Anchors, delivering 30% more holding power than the original SARCA and the new SARCA Excel anchor, both new designs are certified as Super High Holding Power anchors by marine safety Victoria
