Simrad TP10 Tillerpilot

Description: Simrad Tillerpilots are designed for high precision, reliable autosteering, while drawing low current to optimise battery life. Simrad Tillerpilots have hard wearing, waterproof bodies that contains all controls and have been tested for many hours in total immersion. Exceptionally quiet in use, the Simrad TP10 Tillerpilot gives fast and positive performance for effective steering in a wide range of sea states and wind conditions. Simrad TP22 and TP32 Tillerpilots offer easy interfacing to external devices using Simrad’s proprietary network system, SimNet. When interfaced, enhanced options such as sail to wind or sail to waypoint are easily accessed via the key pad.

• TP10 suits tiller-steered sailboats up to around 10 m (32') and 3700 kg displacement, peak thrust of 143 lbs. and a lock-to-lock speed of 10 secs with a 30kg load.
• TP22 suits tiller-steered sailboats up to around 11 m (36') and 5000 kg displacement, peak thrust 70kg (154 lbs) and a lock-to-lock speed of 8 secs with a 20kg load.
• TP32 suits larger tiller-steered vessels, up to around 12 m (39') and 6300 kg displacement, peak thrust of 85kg (187lbs) and a lock-to-lock hardover time of 6 seconds with 40kg load.
• Note: Recommendations assume typical coastal sailing conditions. In circumstances where extended voyages or more extreme weather conditions are expected, the choice of a higher specification pilot is recommended including the full range of Simrad below deck pilots.
